식사(siksa), Have a eat

잘 먹겠습니다 (jal meokkesseumnida) – “I will eat well” (said before starting the meal as a way of showing gratitude and appreciation for the food that has been prepared)
맛있게 먹었습니다 (masitge meogeosseumnida) – “It was delicious” (said after finishing the meal to express satisfaction and enjoyment of the food)
이거 뭐예요? (igeo mwoyeyo?) – “What is this?” (used to ask about an unfamiliar food or dish)
어떻게 먹어요? (eotteoke meogeoyo?) – “How do I eat this?” (used to ask for instructions on how to eat a particular food or dish)
물 좀 주세요 (mul jom juseyo) – “Can I have some water, please?” (used to ask for a glass of water)
고맙습니다 (gomapseumnida) – “Thank you” (used to express gratitude, including for the meal or a specific dish)
식사 하셨어요? (siksa hasyeosseoyo?) – “Have you eaten?” (used as a greeting or to ask if someone has already had a meal)
네, 식사했어요 (ne, siksa haesseoyo) – “Yes, I’ve eaten” (a response to the above question)
